Students of Bhai Batan Singh: Gyani Bhagat Singh of Ṭhaṭṭā Tibbā (1897-1986 – the grand father of Bhai Baldeep Singh, and the elder cousin of Bhai Avtar Singh Gurcharan Singh). Gyani Harbhajan Singh Mistri of Dandian, Hoshiarpur, who played harmonium with maestro in many musical duals as well as handcrafting all of Bhai Batan Singh's instruments. He was discovered by Bhai Baldeep Singh in 1992 and who studied revived the lost art of making instruments under his guidance.
